Shakkai is a space for restoration, listening, and reconnection.

Each session is offered as therapeutic bodywork, guided by presence, intuition, and technique. While deeply supportive, these sessions are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment.

Professional Practice 

All massage services are provided in accordance with the standards of the
Hawaii Board of Massage Therapy.

• Sessions are performed by a licensed massage therapist in the State of Hawaiʻi

• Professional draping is used at all times

• Only the area being worked on will be uncovered

• Clear, respectful communication is maintained throughout the session

Your comfort, dignity, and safety are always honored.

Booking & Energy Exchange

Appointments can be reserved online or by direct contact.

• A deposit or full payment may be required to hold your session

• Accepted forms of payment: cash, card

• Prices may evolve as the practice grows

This exchange supports the time, care, and preparation devoted to each session.

Cancellation & Flow

Shakkai is built on respect for time and energy.

• Please offer at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling

• Late cancellations may be charged up to the full session fee

• Missed appointments are charged in full

In moments of illness or true emergency, flexibility is held with care.

Arrival

• Please arrive on time, allowing yourself to settle gently

• Late arrivals may shorten the session, while the full fee remains

Your session begins the moment you enter the space.

Health & Communication

Before and during your session, you are invited to share openly:

• Injuries, conditions, sensitivities, or changes in your health

• Comfort with pressure, temperature, and techniques

This dialogue allows the session to meet you fully and safely.

Boundaries & Respect

Shakkai is a professional therapeutic practice.

• Any inappropriate behavior or request will result in immediate termination of the session

• The full session fee will still apply

This space is held with integrity, respect, and clear boundaries.

Responsibility & Care

By entering a session, you acknowledge:

• You are receiving bodywork by choice

• You take responsibility for your physical and emotional experience

• You will communicate your needs and limits

Shakkai cannot be held liable for injuries or outcomes beyond the scope of practice.

Giftings 

• Gift cards are non-refundable and valid for 12 months

• Sessions are non-transferable unless agreed with care

Privacy

Your personal information is held with discretion and respect.

It is used only to support your sessions and communication, and is never shared or sold.
