A Living Practice

Shakkai Garden is a space of relationship - between the body, the plant, and the land.

It is not only a place where remedies are made, but where each element is met, observed, and listened to.

Gathering

The plants are gathered by hand, in small quantities - from my garden, or from the lands I move through.

Each harvest follows the rhythm of the plant,
taken only when it is ready - when its fragrance, vitality, and presence are at their peak.

This is not harvesting for production, but a gesture of attention and respect.

Transformation

Once gathered, the plants begin a slow transformation.

Through oils, hydrosols, and botanical preparations,
their qualities are gently drawn out - not forced, but invited.

I work with complementary elements such as oil and alcohol, allowing both the physical and subtle aspects of the plant to be expressed.

Each preparation is made in small batches, shaped by time, observation, and care.

A Living Process

Nothing in Shakkai Garden is standardized.

Each batch carries the imprint of a moment - a season, a place, a climate, a gesture. Variations are not flaws, but the natural expression of something alive.

This is a practice that evolves, guided by experience, intuition, and the intelligence of the plant itself.

For the Body

These preparations are created to support the body - to soften, to restore, and to reconnect.

They are used in treatment, ritual, and daily care, offering a direct, sensory relationship with the plant.

Texture, scent, and touch become pathways through which the body can receive.

An Offering

Shakkai Garden is, at its essence, an offering.

A way of bringing the living qualities of the plant into a form that can be held, applied, and experienced.

What is created is not only a product, but a continuation of a relationship -
from the land, to the hand, to the body.

A quiet return to the body.
